Terms and Conditions

NETWORK TRAVELTICKETS

FLEXIBLE: Network Traveltickets are accepted by almost all local bus operators, Metro, Blaydon to Sunderland rail line and the Shields Ferry. Just show your ticket and step on board.

ECONOMICAL: There is no limit on the number of journeys which can be made within the validity of your ticket – so the more journeys you make, the more money you will save!

CONVENIENT: Traveltickets can be renewed at any of our Travelcentres across Tyne & Wear. Your ticket will commence on the day of purchase and will remain valid until midnight on the expiry date. Tickets may be renewed up to three days prior to expiry so, for example, a ticket, which expired on a Saturday, may be renewed on Thursday, Friday or Saturday. These extra days will simply be added to your new ticket. For your convenience, pre-dated 4 weekly or annual Traveltickets may be ordered:

  1. By post from Network Ticketing (call 0191 276 3706 for details), payment by cheque only.
  2. By telephone from the Nexus Hotline on 0191 203 3315 (Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm) or from the Nexus website www.nexus.org.uk, for payment by credit or debit card.
This information contained on this website is correct at the time of going to production, but may be subject to change at any time and without notice.
