Day Rover Traveltickets - the only one day travelticket you'll  ever need

The Day Rover Travelticket offers unlimited travel on the day of purchase.  Travel anywhere across Tyne and Wear as many times as you like by bus, Metro, train and ferry*.  Its great value too, just £3.20** for a Junior Rover for 5 to 15 year olds and £6.10 for an Adult Day Rover.

Ask your bus driver for a Day Rover Travelticket or select the Day Rover ticket option on any Metro ticket machine. Once you have your ticket you can travel across Tyne and Wear as often as you like that day. Present your ticket to the driver as you board the bus or to the ticket inspector when requested.

*Most buses, the Metro, Shields ferry and Sunderland to Blaydon rail line.  The Day Rover is NOT available for purchase on Northern Rail Services. ** The Junior Rover is available to those under the age of 16 if carrying a Tyne and Wear under 16's card or those up to and including 14 years old who are not carrying the card.
