WinnersTwo lucky students are celebrating having won a year’s free Teen Travel tickets thanks to Network Ticketing and Galaxy Radio.

Liam Armstrong from Seaton Burn and Nicole Patterson from Whitley Bay have won prizes worth over £600.

The winning ticket couldn’t have come at a better time for Liam He said; “I’m delighted to win; I use public transport at least twice a day travelling to and from school and visiting friends across Tyne and Wear so winning this prize has saved me lots of money!”

Network Ticketing teamed up with Galaxy radio to publicise the competition, each winner answered a question and posted their answer on the Network Ticketing or Galaxy website.

Already a regular Teen Travel ticket user Nicole couldn’t believe her luck when she received the call saying she’d won. “I was so happy to win. I use public transport all of the time. Now I can even use my travel pass on the ferry.”

General Manager at Network Ticketing Barbara Golder said; “It’s always great giving away prizes to our customers, especially to those who use our services regularly.”

The competition ran across September and October offering 16-19 year olds in full time further education the chance to win a year’s free travel across Tyne and Wear for a whole year.
