Network Ticketing Ltd administers the multi operator public transport ticketing scheme for Tyne and Wear.

Since 1988, we have been providing a range of money saving Traveltickets and offer the ONLY tickets that can be used on all forms of public transport - bus, Metro, Shields ferry and Sunderland to Blaydon rail line.

Only pay for where you want to go!

Our Traveltickets allow UNLIMITED travel across the region. The tickets are flexible and you can choose where you wish to travel from two zones to the whole of Tyne and Wear.

The map opposite is a guide to the breakdown regional zones and you can use it to work out how many zones you travel through.

The menu bar at the top of the page shows the range of tickets available - have a browse and find the ticket that's just right for you.

Changes to Network Traveltickets:

In response to customer demand, we are re-launching with a new simplified zone structure, a new pricing structure and a brand new look.

From the 11 April 2010 the following changes are due to go live:

From this date you will still get the same convenience of network-wide travel from one ticket across all modes of public transport (bus, Metro, train and ferry*).

New Zones:

We have reduced our current 32 zones down to 5, ensuring your journey through Tyne and Wear is simple and selecting your ticket type will be easier.

New Pricing Structure:

Our tickets will still represent tremendous value for money and a significant discount compared to buying single fares.

New Look:

From 11 April we will carry the new brand name ‘Network One' across a variety of Travel Tickets. Your tickets and photocards will have a brand new look.

Information leaflets will be available for the ticket that you need to purchase. In addition, we will be launching a new website. Watch this space for further service updates!

Changes to Off Peak Tickets:

Demand for Off Peak Tickets has reduced significantly in recent years. As part of the simplification process these tickets will no longer be available.
